Aruma Cafe is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, with a light pink interior, cozy seating, and reasonable pricing. It's the perfect spot to relax, work, or enjoy a date. The only downside was the coffee--it wasn't the best. If the drinks matched the ambiance, this place would be a solid 10/10
Cute corner cafe. It's a wine bar and restaurant all in one. Located in a central residential district with other shops and eateries. We stopped by specifically for their matcha. We had high hopes after reading reviews. We liked it but it wasnt up to our standards. We love a super green earthy iced matcha latte. It had too much milk and not enough matcha to our liking. They only had oatmeal milk substitute and it overpowered the matcha. We should have asked for extra shots of matcha. Still was a refreshing cold drink for the moment but didn't leave us with an urge to want it again. However, would love to come back to mingle and try other drinks out another time bc the atmosphere was so chill.
just visited for the first time and it was lovely! the atmosphere is very homey and is a nice place to study or work (as I saw many people do). the drink I got was very tasty as I'm sure the others are as well. 10/10 would visit again
I tried the cherry lace, and it was absolutely delicious! The barista recommended it, and I was really glad I chose that one. The cheese danish was also tasty, and the service was good. Plus, the vibe and décor are incredibly cute and aesthetic.
I have been wanting to try Aruma since it opened! Finally was able to today and it is just as cute as the pictures and TikToks! I didn't order from the menu and just got an americano with cream and caramel, but honestly it wasn't as good as I was expecting. Maybe I should've tried one of their recipes but it just had that one sour-ish taste I don't like from certain coffee shops. Other than that, it's a great space for working or hanging out. The barista was friendly and service was great. I will definitely give it another try, as their specialities look tasty!!
This place was honestly one of my favorite coffee shops I've been to in a while. - Super cute decor - Plenty of room to hang out (we need more hang out spaces in coffee shops) - AMAZING coffee and drinks - Quirky drink names - Friendly staff Must try the pistachio cloud drink.... Oh man this one is so good I've been dreaming about it The coco puffs one is also so good, but on the rich/sweet side I didn't try the food so can't speak to that Also if you have too much coffee cuz it's all so good and you can't resist, they have cans of CBD drinks :) which are also really good
We stopped in to get a drink before going to PIP Clay +Coffee. The staff was friendly and the beveridges were great! If i lived closer, i would definitely stop by more often. The decor was adorable and comfortable.
Aruma is definitely becoming one of my favorite Tempe coffee meetup spots! From the friendly baristas to the aesthetic decor I always feel so welcome and comfortable in this space. Today I tried a citrus flavored cold brew, and it was delightful! Love how they are constantly changing their offerings, which challenges me to try something new!
I was in need of coffee on Thanksgiving day and Aruma Cafe happened to be on my list to try and open that day! There is some street parking but also a lot as well with ample parking. The gals working that day were so cheerful and friendly! I couldn't decide and ordered The Golden Boy and Cajeta both iced with oat milk. I really loved both drinks. The espresso was not burnt, drinks were not watered down and so much flavor to both! The decor was so cute and inviting as well. I would definitely stop in again when I'm in the area!
It's a cute coffee shop in Tempe and when I went there with my friend on a Sunday morning around 11am, it was packed. Ordered Matcha latte, and it was yummy and my friend had a breakfast bean burrito, it was simple yet good. It's a cute place to have some coffee and chat!
